What is NJ STRIVE?
NJ STRIVE, previously known as CJ PRIDE/NJ STRIDE, is a large consortium of school districts committed to a combined effort to seek and acquire new talent from populations that are not well represented. The group began with a small number of districts in central New Jersey and has expanded throughout the state.
Members meet throughout the year to share strategy, analyze staffing needs, and plan recruitment initiatives. Every spring, the consortium sponsors a large recruitment fair in which eligible member districts can participate.
Districts join by submitting a completed, board-approved shared services agreement and initial registration fee. Annual dues support consortium programs and are allocated by member vote.
